With it’s very own woodland backdrop, this garden design located in the heart of Bournemouth has been intricately created to enhance the clients outdoor living experience and seamlessly connect the architecture and interior of the property with the outside.
Entering the garden, you find yourself in a beautifully designed courtyard. With chequered tiled flooring and bistro seating makes the perfect space for morning coffee. The space is enhanced with planted up rustic terracotta pots with fragrant citrus fruit trees and grape vines to climb up the surrounding brick walls.
Transitioning into the main garden, you will enter the swimming pool area, constructed from clay pavers to compliment the traditional architecture of the existing house. The sun terrace is surrounded with feature planting and pleached trees. Leading to the main terrace where there is soft lounging furniture as well as a dining area.
One of the main features of this garden design in Bournemouth is the steps leading to the lawn and growing area. The steps, constructed from natural stone have intermittent clipped evergreen hedging in places to help soften the façade of this feature as well as creating interest.
On each side of the formal games lawn, there is a traditional vegetable garden that features a glasshouse, composting zone, a central water bowl and four raised beds for production. On the opposite side, there is a stunning natural timber pergola with a flowering feature tree growing through the centre. Under the pergola is a seating and dining area for entertaining family and friends.
At the far end of this garden design in Bournemouth, within the woodland, we have designed a rustic circle seating area, a treehouse which has been designed around the existing trees and a trampoline.
